The Challenge

Like a lot of school websites, the existing site had fallen behind. It was hard to update, didn't reflect the warmth and energy of the school, and wasn't doing justice to everything the staff and children were achieving. Parents deserved better, and so did the school.

We rebuilt the site from the ground up on Umbraco, designed around the school's bee and rainbow branding with a warm, joyful feel throughout. The CMS lets any member of staff publish news, newsletters, letters, events, policies, and governor information without needing a developer. Like most schools in England, Purbrook Infant works within a tight budget, so we did our research carefully.
